Codescanner
Codescanner takes ProCamera to a new level! Scan QR, DataMatrix and EAN codes and instantly capture product, service, and event info on an iDevice. Website URLs can be opened instantly; events or vCards can be easily added to a calendar or address book; phone numbers can be dialed with one tap; contents can be copied and pasted. And users can share any worthy info with their friends via e-mail, SMS, Twitter, and Facebook. Combine it with Steady Light to scan codes at night.
Videozoom
Many users have requested the ability to use zoom while recording video. ProCamera has responded by implementing “video zoom” in the best way possible (with current hardware abilities). To maintain the optimal frame-rate and quality, video zoom is applied after the video is recorded (post processing). This may take a while for lengthy videos, but will result in high quality videos with 25fps. This is an optional feature, which can be deactivated to get maximum performance.
DropBox Integration
As easily as users can share photos via Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, they can now also share their photos and videos with DropBox. And of course, they can share photos to all of their favorite social networks simultaneously!
Visual Timestamp (in addition to the non-visible EXIF data)
Want to know precisely when that picture was taken? The new Timestamp lets users capture the date, time, and time zone of their photo and writes them on the bottom left of the image.
Facelift
ProCamera’s interface (buttons, icons and settings) now have a new fresh look!
New Preview View
The new preview view (when Auto-Save is turned off) now supports 8x zooming and rotation. This allows users to inspect their photos in detail, from all angles and/or “close in”, before they choose to save or discard them.
Green Mode
Even a small contribution to Planet Earth can make things better! A new “Green Mode” was integrated into ProCamera. Activate Green Mode to save battery life. The device will enter an energy saving mode after the defined timeout in iOS settings. Additionally, GPS resources will be used in a more battery-saving way. If everyone used the new Green Mode effectively, there will be less battery charging necessary, and hence everyone’s small contribution to the environment.
